New retail and office space has been added and eight new apartments have all been leased and tenants are in the process of moving in. New businesses include Layla’s Falafel, Greenleaf Café and Salad Creations, Mici Asian Bistro, Branded Salon Suites, and long-time Trumbull favorite Franco Gianni’s Restaurant as well!

Madison Village

Construction completed.

Madison Village represents 16,000 square feet of new retail space.  This $3,000,000 in capital investment will create approximately 60 new jobs.  Residents are enjoying wonderful new additions to town including the Sitting Duck Tavern, Romanacci’s Pizza and Wine Bar, Upper Crust Bakery, Pure Poetry Gift Shop and 99 Bottles.

Planned mixed-use development includes 3 million SF of new buildings creating 1,000 + new jobs. A significant and premier project for the Stratford region.

$900,000 State grant awarded for pre-development planning and environmental compliance analysis. Army Corps of Engineers has agreed to remediate mudflats.

Mixed-use project to include...

The Security Building:
(1115, 1103,1135 Main Street) Approximately 113,000 SF to be re-developed into 66 artist lofts and ground level retail/commercial space is now open.

Colorblends Tulip Museum:
(1163 Main Street) Redevelopment of the former Fairfield Uniform building is nearing completion and will house flower bulb import company Colorblends for office/gallery/museum/retail space to be called “The Tulip Museum.”
