Small/ Minority Business Resource Guide

The Bridgeport Regional Business Council consolidated its business recruitment, retention and sustainability planning services into one new program management entity, The Center for Sustainable Business Growth. The Center serves as the program manager for the newly created Eco-Technology Park and works closely with the City of Bridgeport’s Office of Planning & Economic Development and the State of Connecticut’s Department of Economic and Community Development to attract and retain new business and create jobs. The Center For Sustainable Business Growth also works with the economic development departments in the surrounding communities to foster job creation and promote business expansion in the Greater Bridgeport Area

The Small Business Development Center of Connecticut (CTSBDC) now has an office location at the Bridgeport Regional Business Council, 10 Middle Street – 14th Floor, Bridgeport

A CTSBDC Business Advisor is available to meet with small business owners free of charge at the local BRBC office and at their place of business. The CTSBDC Bridgeport office helps business owners develop and implement long-range plans, secure funding and accomplish a host of other endeavors for the purpose of advancing the economic activity generated by small businesses in the Greater Bridgeport Region.
